Life is uncertain.. Life is complex....

Mind is even more complex..

Our mind is originally free.. but we create the habit of putting something inside it from childhood.. then in some years, mind can't remain free. it always requires something inside it. dreamers see some dream which is unachievable and their mind remain permanently busy in it. Some people think of helping others or changing the society and their mind always remain busy in it. Some people get passionated by some goal and by motivation to prove themselves and their mind remain busy.. Some just get dissolve in love and become permanently engaged.

But process is not that simple. With each engagement activity of mind, their come the byproducts. With dream comes the hope for reality, with goal comes the greediness, with service comes the ego and with love comes the expectations. And as we don't fulfill these byproducts we start feeling sad about it. It creates the pain in our life.

Thus it is important to understand that it is mind who wanted entertainment , that is why it got engaged. But now byproducts of these engagements are creating trouble which were never intentional. Thus we should actually enjoy the movie that mind is screening rather than getting into the pain for not fulfilling these byproducts . Secondly these engagements are always substitutable .. Goal can be replace by other goal , dream by other dream and love by some other love.. It is like changing the movie in cinema hall..

Free mind is ideal state. Busy mind is natural state. Pain from not fulfilling the expectations created from byproducts is artificial state. Each human being should destroy the artificial state, and should start the journey towards ideal state from natural state.

Somebody

Somebody's alarm is ringing continuously for last 10 min. (nice background for current thought process), XL is full live... on first floor some teams are working for MAXI fAIR..(XLRI's one of the oldest event)..Very creative work is going on.. On third floor- drinking party is @ peak... smoking.. drinking.. loud music..dance and completely loosing oneself !! they may have taken drugs..enjoying themselves completely... Ground floor people are celebrating birthday with putting maggy, eggs and bear on birthday boy !!......Bishu da is making parathas continuously and feeding the XLrer gangs hanging out there for their breaks.. Some couple is taking slow walk in chill cold but beautiful xlri campus... Some Ghissus are behind Kakani's assignment- thinking of how will they make it this time.. Some are on phone with their GF/BF and are explaining what was there in dinner tonight...Some are playing badminton and some football in lights....some are already in their bed under deep sleep...some are watching movie in LH...Placecom is busy behind contacting companies and negotiating packages..Committees are coming back after having expensive dinner.....Bahadur is unhappy as he has not got the MAXI fair pass.....I am observing and thinking......

See different things people are doing in one of the busiest place in India. Imagine what our ancient would be doing - when there was so much free time......This was the evolution of concept "Culture".......

Actually this leads to question what it mean by LIFE ?

After long days,

As i am learning management will start writing today's blog with some figures/data

1] My MBA friends will get salaries around RS. 16-22 lakhs per annum from their first jobs

2] I am getting 25,000 stipend for doing my research and taking the education

3] My Photographer friend is struggling to earn steady 25,000 per month (at this stage, in future he may earn in crores...)

4] My engineer friend (Mtech- non renewable energy resources) is getting salary of Rs 6 lakhs per annum

5] My friend working in IT is getting 5.5 lakhs salary per annum after working for 4 and half years

6] My mom is getting salary of 2 lakh per ammum after working for 20 years in Bank..

7] One of my best friend who can be the best event manager and better manager than most of my friends is struggling to get the job.

8] Mess boy is getting 3000 for cleaning the food wasted by all MBA studs in my mess.

9] Gardners are getting less than Rs 100 for maintaining the lawn where future managers throw their bear bottles,

10] Farmer , 40 km from my college don't get any assured income and sometime Rs 80 per day.

11] India'sPrime minister's salary is..........

and so on... Why is it like that......Except prime minister, i have seen everybody.. so i don't believe that differences in their salaries are any way are related to their skill level or intellectual level. Are these MNC's are bringing new capitalist structure in society ? is it right distribution of wealth ? Where this will lead the society ? What is attitude that will develop in these managers ? what will be the attitude that will develop in the people who are earning less without there fault ? will anybody go for engg in non renewable resources rejecting the HR job? will anybody choose their passion such as musics, photography, arts as their careers? Do we need some reforms in the systems ? Do we need CHE in India ? Alla kasam :), mere dost MBA pura karake job suru karenge tabhi muze es cheej ka answer milega !!!

4TH term "learnings-unlearnings"

I should have one line common for all the posts on my blogs..

"I am writing after so many days....:)"

Anyway, here are few things i did in last term in XLRI.

1] We had great fun in our sportscom comittee. We started one super league consist of all games. We had a bidding process to form the 4 clubs..and then we started the tournament with 2 events this term. Good innitiative in XL.

2] In SIGMA, we started project school on new mode. We are conducting workshop for students on each saturday-sunday. We have completed 6 workshops this term and we are targetting overall 42 in whole year. We got 100 volunteers. We had clothes distibution under GOONJ. We also started campaign against food wastage in mess.

3] We had a bike trip to some fall about 50 km from JamashedPur. And near about 10 trips to Dimna..And now we are going to bhuvaneshwar (400 km) on bike in next two days...

4] I listened to many good speeches on TED. I had a good collection of poems in last three months. I collected few good presentations...

5] I attended all social entrepreneurship, indian Philosophy, MCCD and counselling lecture without missing single one. I learned a lot...it was fun. 3 of them were without notebook and pen.

6] I made one really self satisfying presentation on self actuallization. It was fun.. I had a few more creative presentations in IPLE and social entrepreneurship lectures.

7] I made one good documetry with srinath on platform beggers.

8] It was fun reading Yayati, Geeta, Developmental Economics, Freud and many more..

9] I had one beautiful morning with hari, near dimna lake reading Geeta..

10] first time many full night outs..no exercises whole term....lot of tea......and variety of friends

11] LONG HAIRS>>>>>>>> i am loosing many for that... but its ok...any how i will loose them

12] More thinking on "Kama Purusha, Swadharma and purpose of life"

13] more empty and loneliness feeling by thinking of future and thinking the world as constantly changing..

XL 2nd year begins !!

Back to XL !! With great experience of summer project with Basix, again eager to get some more knowledge. This term looking forward at two subjects

1] Indian philosophy and leadership

2] Social entrepreneurship

Summer has created lot of interest in reaserch. Now i need to think about finalising my subject.

Kakani special !!

God ! we finished our end term for financial management today. I started studying yesterday with Laxmi stotra (as paper was finance :)). then night out and today whole day- study..it was surprise as expected when we faced the end term. This term we only had KAKANI in our life. Whole PMIR batch was kakanized..(new word added to dictionary :)). Here are few reasons for process of kakanization.

1] He creates his own rule and follows them by heart.. as hard as RAJA Harishchandra.

2] Now , term began with kakani explaining class that it is a game we are going to play for next 20 lectures..(Rules defined by him)

3] All lectures at 8.30 morning (it is midnight timming for XL :)). If you r 1 second late , you are out.

4] First lecture 15 marks are deposited to your account. Now game will be played base on reduction and addition to this 15 marks.

5] Random presenty.. Day he feel that there are more than 2 people absent, he will take attendance. And -2 for absent people.. So (you have to present all lecture on time, also he dont have to take attendance everyday)

6] If mobile is on, and somebody calls you... uffff !!  -7 marks for you and entire row gets -2 each.

7] Before each lecture - one group assignment based on chapter that will be there on that lecture. Result- you should read chapter , discuss it in group and then only come to class. U will need to spend 3 hrs before each lecture.

8] He assigned one company to each . And we had individual assignment after each lecture based on that company. (Great idea so people cant copy each others assignment) . Result- You read that chapter again after lecture and spends 3 hrs for doing assignment.

9]Now for checking each assignment he will generate no. by random no generator. Say for assgnmt 1, no generated is 1, then that assgnmt will be checked for roll no 1,11,21,31.... REsult- In given 18 assnmt your no. can come any time so that you have to do all assgnmt properly. you cant do trade off. Again good assignment will add 2-3 mark to your deposit of 15 mark and bad assignment can subtract upto 7 marks.. BAAP-RE !!

10] First quiz, - all numericals, options were given very close. Say answer is 16.75. He will give option as  a] 16.2 to 16.4 b] 16.2 to 16.6 c] <=16.2.. and answer will be option (e) for all questions saying as "none of the above". Who will dare to answer"none of this" for all question although you calculate right answers.

11] before end term all people  have spend 3hr * 21 group assgnmt + 3 hrs * 18 individual assignments + 1.5 hrs * 20 lectures + quiz study + 1 hrs * 26 chapters reading = 173 hrs on finance in span of 2 month.

12] Still everybody struggling to pass, So people studied for atleast 24 hrs before end term

13] end term is - he gave one business standard newspaper. Exam time is 150 min. And we have 55 questions on 55 news spread over all the papers even in suppliment. :)

What else you don't want ???? hihihihihihi

One should experience Kakani rather than going for tirthayatra ! What else u want ?

Latur - Summers

I am getting one very important break in life. Going to Latur for summers ! Life is going to be complete different out there ! How i will face it ? It is very interesting. What is so big changes are going to happen ?

1] XL hostel - full time with friends around to alone in latur

2] unlimited hot water, beautiful scenary around, nice mess food four times, AC classrooms and library to rain drained area where nothing is fixed abt accomodation, food and all such things

3] 24-hr wifi network to no network

4] 24 hrs electricity, separate rooms to stay --> 12 hrs load shading, water problem and hot summers

5] English, hindi ---> Latur special Marathi :)

6]profit oriented business world ---> BPL farmers and their aspirations

7] dont know what else !!

Fun !!

Can i do few things ?

1] Let have no connection with XL for two months

2] Full time focus on work

3] Travelling in marathavada

4] meeting new people

5] Completely different things than normal schedule

Let us see how it happens - new change !!
